The five-station wire prefeeding machine gently and constantly feeds the wire to the active wire storage, while the fully automated wire harness processing machine's intake brings the wire out of the storage for further processing. The wire is led under constant stress for trouble-free feeding.

It has 5 wire feeding reels, each of which can operate independently, and a moveable dancer pulley that enables the prefeeder to quickly adapt to the normal intermittent starting and stopping behavior associated with automated wire processing machines.
